Connections Afternoon with Open Door Club.
We were delighted to welcome the Open Door Club to our school for a very special Connections Afternoon. Pupils from KS1 and KS2 enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of sharing and celebration alongside our visitors.
The children showcased an impressive range of talents, including musicians playing the piano, recorders, ocarinas, drums and accordion. We were also treated to a beautiful dance performance, a thoughtful poem about Castlecaulfield Castle performed by our KS2 pupils, and lovely singing from both KS1 and KS2.
Well done to all the children for taking part and confidently showcasing their talents. We are very proud of you all.
As part of the afternoon, members of the Open Door Club also took part in our Ulster-Scots Club.
A sincere thank you to the Open Door Club for joining us and helping to make today so special. We would also like to extend our thanks to Victoria and Valerie for their support in helping to facilitate today’s event.
