Our KS2 class have had a busy and enjoyable week learning all about fractions! We finished the week with a fun game of Fraction Golf, which helped us practise ordering fractions and spotting equivalent fractions in a hands on way.
The aim of the game was to roll the dice to create a fraction and then compare it to the target for each round. Just like in golf, the winner was the player who reached the target in the fewest rolls. Along the way, there was lots of discussion, teamwork and great mathematical thinking on display.
Most importantly, everyone had lots of fun while building their confidence with fractions. ⛳📊
