Our KS2 pupils had a wonderful time celebrating Shrove Tuesday today! 🥞
After enjoying some delicious pancakes, we explored why this day is important in the Christian calendar. We learned about Jesus being tempted in the desert and created thoughtful storyboards to retell the story.
The children also discussed the meaning of Lent and how it can be a time for reflection, challenge and making positive choices.
