KS2 Shared Education - Galbally Community Centre
Last week, our pupils enjoyed a fantastic day out at Galbally Community Centre, where they joined with our partner schools for a range of fun and creative activities.
The day began with some lovely wellbeing sessions that encouraged everyone to relax, reflect, and think about what makes each of us special. The children particularly enjoyed trying out yoga and sharing their ideas about self-confidence and positivity.
We were then treated to an inspiring art lesson with local artist Sinéad McDermott, who guided us through creating our own Belfast city landscape artwork. The pupils showed great creativity and enthusiasm as they experimented with colour and perspective.
To round off the day, we took part in some lively and energetic team games that had everyone moving, laughing, and working together. It was wonderful to see so much teamwork, encouragement, and joy in the hall.
We are so grateful to everyone involved in organising and leading such a positive and memorable day!
