Earlier this week, KS2 pupils had the wonderful opportunity of visiting a local recycling plant manufacturer, called Kiverco. The children were given a presentation on recycling, showing how the company manufactures machinery to help sort waste for recycling. This was followed by a fantastic tour around the facility and concluded with a very delicious lunch, kindly provided by Kiverco. The children had lots of questions and were really engaged throughout the visit.
Over the next few weeks our pupils will be taking part in workshops facilitated by Kiverco. We are very excited to see how the children will work together in teams to design and create their own conveyer belt machine!
