KS2 Speedwell Programme
Our KS2 pupils recently had the wonderful opportunity to take part in the Speedwell programme in partnership with Blessed Patrick O’Loughran Primary School.
Throughout the programme, the children enjoyed a range of shared sessions, including visits to each other’s schools and to local places of worship, helping them to learn more about their community and build new friendships.
One of the highlights was a visit from the local police team. The pupils were excited to try on parts of the uniform, look around the police vehicle and they even got the chance to try on some handcuffs. During the visit, they also learned valuable lessons about staying safe online.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Stephen and Carolyn for organising and leading such engaging sessions, and for making the experience so enjoyable for everyone involved. We are also very grateful for the lovely celebration day, where the children had a great time together and enjoyed some delicious pizza.
It has been a fantastic experience for our pupils, and one they will remember fondly.
