Oh no… KS2 were trapped in school! The only way to escape? Master the spelling rules for plurals!
Our classroom was transformed into an exciting Escape Room, where pupils worked collaboratively to solve a series of spelling challenges. Each task focused on a different plural rule. Every task required careful thinking, teamwork and sharp spelling skills.
Every correct set of answers revealed part of a secret code. Accuracy was key as one incorrect plural meant revisiting the rule, checking our reasoning and trying again. The room was filled with purposeful discussion, teamwork and determination as pupils justified their spelling choices before entering each code.
The excitement built with every successful clue solved, and it was brilliant to see such determination, resilience and collaboration on display. A fun, fast-paced way to strengthen our spelling knowledge!✨
